At last we made it to New England!
A gathering of IRC friends took place on September 4 and 5, celebrating
the wedding of Kirk and Kathy, aka
KP and tenashus.

After the group festivities, Carl and I set off in our rental car and made a tour of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Oh, such lovely country! So nice and green.
While in Vermont, we took a side trip up into Quebec...the language barrier initmidated Carl, so we didn't stop for munchies or anything, but now he can at least say he's been to Canada.
For me, this almost completes my goal of visiting every state in the Union. Only Rhode Island is left.
